Out Of State Transfer

Valid Identification: The owner is required to present a valid form of identification to complete the Out of State transfer process. This can include a state-issued driver's license or ID card.

Vehicle Inspection: Bring Vehicle Verification Form (REG 31)

Out-of-State Title or Registration: Present the current title or registration document from the previous state. If a lienholder has the title, let us know, and we'll assist you with the necessary paperwork.

Smog Certification: Bring a passing smog certificate from a California-certified smog check station, unless your vehicle is exempt. This is a crucial step for most vehicles entering California registration for the first time.
